Devin Hotzel, Member at Large
Devin Hotzel currently serves as Enbridge’s Director of Federal Affairs. In this role, Devin leads Enbridge’s federal government affairs and legislative strategy on Capitol Hill and within the Executive Branch. Prior to this role, Devin served as Manager of State Government Affairs for Enbridge where he was charged with managing legislative strategy and state government relations across company assets and capital expansion projects in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, New Mexico and Mexico
Since 2009, he has served various public and government affairs roles in the energy industry with a focus on government affairs and public policy. He has lead public and government affais campaigns on over $6B worth of capital expansion projects in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Wyoming, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
He serves on the Carbon Neutral Coalition Advisory Board; TXN 20 Selection Committee for Texan by Nature; Legislative Committees for the Texas Oil and Gas Association (TXOGA) Texas Pipeline Association (TPA), the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA), the Mississippi Petroleum Council, Alabama Manufacturers Association, Florida Natural Gas Association, and the Oklahoma Petroleum Alliance.
Devin serves his community through a variety of organizations focused on providing opportunity and positive influence to youth. In 2021, Devin founded the Dads-on-Duty program at his children’s elementary school to provide a positive male presence on campus and provide fathers with opportunities to be more involved in their children’s educational experience. Devin is an active participant in the Watch D.O.G.S (Dads of Great Students) organization of the National Center for Fathering. Additionally, he serves as a Friend of Parks Youth Ranch to provide homeless youth with housing, food and mentorship opportunties.
Devin is a graduate of Texas State University with a BA in Mass Communications and earned a Masters of Public Administration and Policy with honors from American University in Washington, D.C.
