Lindsay Schneider, Secretary
Lindsay Schneider is the founder, CEO, and Principal Consultant of Village Carbon where she is furthering progress toward climate goals while bolstering the financial sustainability of partner organizations through carbon revenue. Lindsay has almost 20 years of diverse professional experience in environmental permitting, compliance, and management, having worked in municipal government, consulting, construction, mining and materials, and midstream oil and natural gas. Lindsay holds a BS in Analytical Environmental Studies from the University of Nebraska – Omaha and a MS in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado – Denver. She was a member of the Denver Leadership Foundation’s 2023 Leadership Denver class and the Energy Leadership Institute’s inaugural 2023 Engen cohort.
Lindsay is actively engaged with multiple non-profits in the Denver area supporting children, the environment, girls in STEM, and other community needs. She is a Butterfly Pavilion Science and Conservation Committee member, serves as a guide for the Society of Women Engineers annual GESTEM event, volunteers with STEMblazers to inspire and support girls’ interest in STEM careers, was the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Center Gala Sponsorship Committee Chair, and has served on the board of the Curtis Park Neighbors Registered Neighborhood Organization.
Lindsay lives in Denver with her husband, three daughters, and four chickens. When she isn’t busy building, fixing, or creating, she enjoys the outdoors, gatherings with friends, reading, travel, and great food and wine.
