Katerina Yared, P.G., PMP, CDI.D, is a distinguished leader who seamlessly merges her geoscience expertise with a deep commitment to sustainable energy. As the Global Energy Portfolio Lead at 3M Oil & Gas, Carbon Capture, Geothermal, she is a driving force behind innovation in alternative energy, effectively serving as an "energy transformer." Her extensive background spans diverse roles, from field engineer to geoscience manager at companies like Baker Hughes, and a technical SME at Apache and SM Energy. She has also provided pivotal consulting services as the owner of Orka Switch Solutions LLC for new energy ventures.

Katerina holds MSc degrees in Sustainable Management (University of Wisconsin) and Geology (RWTH Aachen, Germany). Her significant leadership contributions include serving as the 63rd President of SPWLA and a Director for the Energy Leadership Institute. She also holds lifetime memberships with SPE and ARMA. Based in Colorado, Katerina’s career reflects a remarkable blend of professional success, dedication and a visionary approach to developing inclusive energy solutions.
